I am refusing to get worked up about this. Except for the progesterone holes in my ass and the estrogen patch on my gut, my body feels pretty much 'normal'. I don't feel any different. Not pregnant anyway. And the fact that we're in the two week wait should have no bearing on how I imagine my body is feeling (or not feeling).
Both Friday and Saturday night this weekend, I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. Soaked through my shirt with sweat. Gross! I've had these night sweats before, but not for awhile. So, what does a woman in the 2WW do with this new information? I went straight to the internet to try to correlate any reference of night sweats to pregnancy. And, it is true that early pregancy can cause night sweats. But so can hormone replacement therapy in menopausal women. Did I mention I'm taking progesterone AND estrogen supplements? My hormones are all over the place, I'm sure. This can cause night sweats. So, my lovely little episodes could be because of the hormone supplements, pregnancy or both. I'm still hoping both!
OMG just checking in, I hadn't since your post about only one embryo making it! What a great turn your cycle has taken! I had 19 eggs retrieved and ended up with only 2 viable embryos - a great embryo and a poor embryo which were both transferred, had nothing make it to freeze, and I am now typing this with my daughter on my shoulder :) I am feeling very good for you!
ReplyDeleteAnd I did have night sweats a couple of times during my 2ww which ended in a BFP - but whether that was from the preg or the estradiol I was on who knows?
Keeping you in my thoughts!!
While yes the progesterone can cause them, in my previous cycles I never was hot/sweat and this one (lucky #3) I was throwing covers off and peeling off the clothes (and still am). SOOOOOO it could be!!!
